Florian Bachofer – Violin![]() Florian Bachofer, born in Stuttgart, began his studies with Otto Armin in Stuttgart. He did his formal studies, which he completed with an orchestra diploma with honours, with Professor Nora Chastain at the Winterthur-Zurich Music Conservatory. There he was trainee and substitute musician in the Winterthur City Orchestra and concert master of the Swiss Orchestra Academy. Later, in the class of Professor Rudolf Koelman, he studied for the concert exam at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf, which he finished with the degree “künstlerische Reife” (artistic certificate). He received further musical impulses during masterclasses with, among others, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Franco Gulli, Christian Ostertag and Shmuel Ashkenasi. Florian Bachofer works as a music pedagogue and gives classes at the Klosterseminar in Blaubeuren and at the music schools in Münsingen and Fellbach. As a freelancer he is substitute musician with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic and the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester. He is a member of various chamber music orchestras and performs regularly in Germany and other European countries. |
